Halo Infinite

Halo Infinite is one of 343 Industries and SkyBox Labs currently under development video game that the Xbox Game Studios for Windows , Xbox One and Xbox Series X will be released. The game is due to be released in 2020 and is the next main part of the Halo series. It continues the story of the Master Chief in the third chapter of the "Reclaimer Saga", after Halo 5: Guardians and will be the sixth game in the franchise with Master Chief as the protagonist.

The Master Chief will again play a more central role in Halo Infinite than in Halo 5: Guardians . The E3 2018 trailer revealed that the story will take place on a halo ring and featured the design of the Master Chief's Mark VI armor.

Halo Infinite is currently being developed by 343 Industries in the new Slipspace Engine. According to Microsoft, the Master Chief returns to Halo Infinite with "his greatest adventure to save mankind". The planning phase of the story began in 2015. An announcement trailer was released on June 10, 2018. The developer said that all of the scenes in the Halo Infinite trailer were running in the engine. Halo Infinite will again feature a split screen in response to the strong counter-resonance from the distance in the previous game. There will be a beta called the Insider Flight Program before it is released. At E3 2019, Halo Infinite was announced as the launch title for Xbox Series X.
