Hold on! is the first music album of the Rummelsnuff project by the East German artist Roger Baptist .
It was released in 2008 by his sponsor Alfred Hilsberg on ZickZack Records and is attributed to the Electropunk style .
Music style and lyrics
Rummelsnuff himself describes his music as "Derbe Strommusik". The album was mostly produced electronically, only a few additional instruments were used.
The lyrics are about sailors, workers and athletes, in a dark and melancholy mood. Except for Hammerfest , where a stanza is sung in Norwegian , all of the own titles are written in German. On this Rummelsnuff album, the artist Roman Shamov also wrote the lyrics for several titles.
A cover version of the track Mongoloid by the American new wave band Devo is included on the album.

Design of the CD version
The layout of the CD version is stylistically based on the German cinema films from the 1920s to the early 1950s. On the CD itself there is a picture of the Berlin East Harbor . The portrait photos of the bodybuilder Rummelsnuff were taken by Sven Marquardt in the still vacant part of the Berghain techno club in Berlin.
