Hamburg School Museum
The Hamburg School Museum is a Hamburg museum of the authority for schools and vocational training, which has been located in the former secondary school of the evangelical reformed community from 1886 and is located in Seilerstraße in St. Pauli .
Photo archive
The photo archive of the museum comes from the photo collection of the former educational science seminar of the University of Hamburg . It was supplemented by reproductions from other archives ( state media center , history workshops , etc.), the photo collection of the Lichtwarkschule and photo bequests from individual teachers and students.

On the history of private schools , on the Jewish school system, on the history of elementary schools and high schools , on reform pedagogy , on experimental schools and others.
Text and learning books
Among the well over 10,000 copies are books on all subjects from the various epochs. Particularly noteworthy are an extensive collection of primers and a collection of realities books.
Chronicles of the Hamburg schools
From the founding of the Johanneum in 1529 to the current school programs of all schools in Hamburg, from elementary schools to comprehensive schools and grammar schools to special schools and vocational schools .
This also includes numerous smaller village schools whose villages were incorporated within the framework of the Greater Hamburg Act and which had previously developed independently in Holstein or Lüneburg .

The museum's collection includes:
