The Hammermühlbach is a brook in the urban area of Deggendorf .

The source of the Hammermühlbach is located southeast of the Oberberg and east of the pulpit at about 420 meters above sea level. After about 330 meters, the stream reaches one of the lower pumped storage reservoirs of the Rusel power plants and flows through the lake for about 110 meters. The Breitenbach flows into this lake on the right . After another 169 meters, the Höllbach also joins on the right . The eponymous hamlets of Waffenhammer and Neumühle follow the creek on the left and right. 1.951 km after the Höllbach the Mietrachinger Bach flows into it and a further 1.119 km downstream it flows into the Kollbach, near the Deggendorfer Stadtpark and the federal road 11 .

Source of the Hammermühlbach at about 420  m above sea level. NHN a little to the west and below Großfilling. The Hammermühlbach flows roughly westwards throughout.
