Hanna Staub (born August 26, 2001 ) is a German skeleton pilot .

Career

In the 2018/19 season she took part in the German skeleton championships for the first time . In Altenberg , after two runs, she finished twelfth among 17th starters. A year later at the German championships in 2020, which were held on November 9, 2019 in Königssee , she finished ninth. She also qualified for the European Cup team, so that she was able to make her debut in the European Skeleton Cup on December 8, 2019 in Winterberg . In Winterberg, she managed to take third place on her debut, behind the two Britons Hannah Stevenson and Amelia Coltman . A week later she finished third again in the second European Cup race of the season at Königssee behind Amelia Coltman and her own team-mate Josefa Schellmoser . One day later, on December 15, 2019, she finished fifth in the second race on the Königssee artificial ice rink . At the end of the 2019/20 season, she finished fifth in the overall ranking of the European Cup World Cup with 299 points, making her the best German.
