Hannah Ahlheim

Hannah Ahlheim (* 1978 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German historian and university lecturer.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1997 at the Philippinum Grammar School (Marburg) , she studied modern history, ancient history and theater studies , cultural communication at the Humboldt University in Berlin from 1997 to 2002 ( Magistra Artium 2002 in Berlin ). From 2003 to 2009 she was a research assistant at the Institute for History, Humboldt University Berlin (Contemporary History Department, Ludolf Herbst ). After completing the doctoral procedure at the Ruhr University Bochum ( Constantin Goschler ) in 2008 , she worked from 2009 to 2016 as a research assistant at the Seminar for Medieval and Modern History at the Georg-August University of Göttingen ( Department of Modern History, Dirk Schumann ). After completing the habilitation process in Göttingen in 2016 , she represented the professorship for European History of the 20th Century at the University of Potsdam in the 2016/2017 winter semester and was then a research assistant at the Center for Contemporary History in Potsdam, and from 2017 to 2018 a fellow of the Institute for History and future of work at the International Humanities College Work and curriculum vitae from a global historical perspective of the Humboldt University. Since 2018 she has been teaching as a professor of contemporary history at the Historical Institute of JLU Giessen .
