Hannah Spearritt
Hannah Louise Spearritt (born April 1, 1981 in Gorleston-on-Sea , Norfolk ) is an English actress and singer . She was a member of the successful pop group S Club 7 . She also plays the role of Abby Sarah Maitland in the television series Primeval - Return of the Primeval Monsters .
biography
Spearritt was born in Gorleston-on-Sea , Norfolk , in 1981 and is the youngest of three children. Her older siblings are Stuart Spearritt and the former model and fashion designer Tanja Spearritt. Her uncle Eddie Spearritt was a professional soccer player for Ipswich Town in the 1960s .
She started modeling at the age of three and was accepted into the National Youth Music Theater as a teenager . At school she also met her future friend and bandmate Paul Cattermole . After graduating from high school, she began studying mathematics , media and performing arts in Great Yarmouth . However, Spearritt dropped out after she was cast into the band S Club 7 .
Spearritt was a member of S Club 7 from 1998 to 2003. The band was marketed in Europe and the US through both their music and a soap opera TV series of the same name and enjoyed great commercial success. The series ran in Germany on the TV channel VIVA . After the band broke up in 2003, Spearritt devoted himself only to acting.
In 2007 she had her greatest success as an actress in the ITV1 television series Primeval - Return of the Primeval Monsters . She plays the zookeeper Abigail "Abby" Sarah Maitland in this series. The first episode of this science fiction series about long-extinct prehistoric monsters who are transported to England in the 21st century by time anomalies saw six million viewers in Great Britain.
Spearritt was in a relationship with her former band member Paul Cattermole from 2001 to 2006. From 2006 to October 2013 she was with Andrew Lee Potts and also engaged. The two lived together and met while filming the series Primeval, in which he played Connor Temple. From 2013 to 2015 she was in a relationship with the personal trainer Adam Thomas and engaged. In 2015 Spearritt was again in a relationship with Paul Cattermole, but has since separated from him again. In 2018 Spearritt became the mother of a daughter.
