Career
Club career
Eder began his sporting career at Innsbruck AC . He joined FC Wacker Tirol in 2002 through BNZ Tirol . With the Innsbruck team he became champion of the Regionalliga West in 2003 , and the following year he rose to the Bundesliga as first division champion with Wacker Tirol . In January 2007 he moved to the Austrian record champions SK Rapid Wien , where he became Austrian champions in 2008. SK Rapid Wien extended Hannes Eder's contract for another two years until June 2012.
In January 2011, Hannes Eder joined on loan until the summer to the Danish SAS League to Sønderjyske . His engagement there was due to injury and due to the incomplete salary payments from the club side, however, under a bad star. After the spring season with only two missions, he returned from Denmark.
In the summer of 2011, Eder switched to the promotion aspirant of the “Today for Tomorrow” First League SCR Altach to Vorarlberg and signed a contract there until the summer of 2013. In the summer of 2012, the contract was terminated by mutual agreement at the player's request and Hannes Eder signed a long-term contract with SK Austria Klagenfurt . Due to financial problems of the association, he resigned from this contract in January 2013. The two-time ÖFB team player has been under contract with SV Horn since autumn 2013 . In 2014, Eder ended his professional career as one of the most successful Tyrolean footballers of the last decade due to an injury.
