Hannes Schumacher

Hannes Schumacher (* 1987 in Ribnitz-Damgarten ) is a German actor .

Life

Hannes Schumacher made his first stage experiences before his acting training from 2009 in off-productions of the “Theaterkapelle Berlin”. He completed his acting studies from 2011 to 2015 at the University of Music and Theater in Rostock . From October 2013 he received a scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation .

During his studies he already had guest engagements at the Volkstheater Rostock and the Theater Heilbronn . During his training he also made guest appearances at the Maxim Gorki Theater and appeared in productions by Gustav Rueb and Sonja Hilberger . From 2015 to 2018 he was a permanent member of the ensemble at Theater Aachen . There he played under the direction of Christina Rast , Bernadette Sonnenbichler , Dominik Günther , Ludger Engels and Marcus Lobbes .

Since the 2018/19 season he has been part of the permanent theater ensemble at the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam . There he made his debut in October 2018 with a double role as god and policeman in the Brecht play The Good Man of Sezuan . Other roles were Eugen Rümpel in Pension Schöller (2018, director: Jan Jochymski ), Ferdinand in Kabale und Liebe (2018/19 season, director: Tobias Rott ), and the roles of Kuno-Dieter Barkausen / Karl Hergesell / Max Harteisen in Everyone dies for himself (season 2018/19, director: Annette Pullen ).

In the 2019/20 season he embodies at the Hans Otto Theater a. a. the Brick in The Cat on the Hot Tin Roof in a production by Steffi Kühnert .

In addition to his theater work, Schumacher also appeared in short films, documentaries and commercials. In the 7th season of the ZDF series Heldt (2019) he took on one of the episode roles as the henchman of a Bochum gang boss and drug dealer ( Timo Jacobs ).

Hannes Schumacher is married and has one child. He lives in Potsdam-West .
