Hanns Lilje House
The Hanns-Lilje-Haus is a conference and training center, hotel and seat of several organizations of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanover in Hanover . It was named after the Hanoverian regional bishop Hanns Lilje . The listed building is located on Hans-Lilje-Platz opposite the Marktkirche Hannover . The Hanns-Lilje-Haus (conference center / hotel / facilities) belongs to the house of ecclesiastical services of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanover.
history
After the Second World War , today's Hanns-Lilje-Haus was the seat of the regional church office from 1947 to 1957 . From 1957 the building was the seat of the Hanover Church Music School . The church music school used the house as a training and further education facility for church musicians. After an extensive renovation, the then Hanoverian regional bishop Horst Hirschler opened the building under the name Hanns-Lilje-Haus as a modern conference and training center including a hotel.
Office for Community Service / House of Church Services
Former institutions
Today's Hanns-Lilje House was called the House for Worship and Church Music from 1981 to 1991 and until 2002 was the seat of the office of the trombone work of the regional church in the Office for Community Service (AfG) (today: House of Church Services (HkD)) and the office of worship and church music in the AfG, both institutions today belong to the Evangelical Center for Worship and Church Music in Hildesheim. The Evangelical Student Community of Hanover and the Pastoral Care Working Group (today part of the Center for Pastoral Care ) had their headquarters here and were administered by the Office for Community Service.
Conference center and hotel
The hotel can accommodate up to 37 overnight guests. 23 employees take care of the guests. The hotel is a training company for hotel specialists and, in cooperation with the Hanover workshops, offers internships or jobs for people with disabilities. The hotel has been a member of the Association of Christian Hoteliers eV (VCH) since 2011.
The Hanns-Lilje-Haus houses modern conference rooms in which a wide variety of events take place.
Facilities
The Hanns-Lilje House houses the offices of the Lower Saxony Evangelical Village Helpers and the Church Service in Police and Customs of the Confederation of Evangelical Churches in Lower Saxony , and the Lower Saxony Evangelical Adult Education Office for the Hanover area (EEB Hannover / Lower Saxony Center) and Schaumburg-Lippe (working group Schaumburg-Lippe) in the house. These facilities are assigned to the House of Church Services of the Hanoverian regional church and are administered by the administrative office of the House of Church Services.
Other facilities
The Hanns-Lilje Haus is the seat of the offices of the Hanns-Lilje-Foundation , the Center for Health Ethics , the main office for life counseling in the Evangelical Lutheran. Regional Church of Hanover as well as the office for personnel consulting and personnel development in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanover. For these facilities, the administration office of the House of Church Services takes on the administration / management tasks.
In the Hanns-Lilje-Haus there is the bookstore at the Marktkirche , in which the re-entry point "Church in view" of the Lutheran. City Church Association Hanover is housed.
