Hanns Martin Schmidramsl

Hanns Martin Schmidramsl (born January 11, 1917 in Munich ; † November 7, 1991 in Eichstätt ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Life

Schmidramsl graduated from the humanistic high school in Metten and studied history, philosophy and education. From 1940 to 1945 he took part in the Second World War, where he was injured 60 percent . From 1946 he was again active in youth and family work in the Eichstätt diocese and in Bavaria. He was the youth leader of the entire Catholic youth of Bavaria and advisor for youth and lay work. In 1954 he became chairman of the district association of war invalids, war survivors and social pensioners in Eichstätt.

From 1950 to 1974 Schmidramsl was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament . He was always elected directly. His constituency was initially called Eichstätt-Stadt und - Land , Hilpoltstein , later it was called Eichstätt-Stadt und -Land, Weißenburg in Bavaria-Stadt und - Land .

On January 13, 1964, he was awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit.
