Hans-Dietrich Möller

Hans-Dietrich Möller (born February 20, 1928 in Remplin , Malchin district, † July 19, 1987 ) was a German engineering scientist and party functionary of the GDR block party NDPD . He was a member of the People's Chamber of the GDR.

Life

Möller, son of a teacher , attended high school and passed the Abitur . In 1946 he joined the FDJ . From 1947 to 1951 he studied at the University of Rostock and completed his studies as a subject teacher for mathematics . In 1949 he became a member of the NDPD and the FDGB . From 1952 to 1957 he was a research assistant at the Institute for Ship Statics at the University of Rostock. In 1956 he received his doctorate in engineering. (“The extension of the normal frame calculation methods to pressure and tension loaded structures and their application to stability problems”). From 1957 to 1959 he was a lecturer at the engineering school for aircraft construction in Dresden , from 1959 to 1961 department head in the research center of the aviation industry and from 1961 head of department, department head and most recently head of department at the Institute for Lightweight Construction and Economic Use of Materials in Dresden. Here he edited several publications on the "AUTRA program system".

From 1961 to 1964 he was a district councilor and city councilor in Dresden-Mitte. From 1962 he was a member of the district committee and from 1969 to 1976 chairman of the Dresden-Stadt district committee and from 1976 a member of the Dresden district committee of the NDPD. From 1976 he was also deputy chairman of the Dresden District Committee of the National Front .

From 1967 until his death Möller was a member of the People's Chamber of the GDR and there a member of the committee for industry, construction and transport.
