Hans-Henning Grünwald

Hans-Henning Grünwald (born February 22, 1939 in Berlin ; † August 9, 2020 in Speyer ) was a German administrative officer and politician ( CDU ).

Life

Grünwald attended grammar school and studied law after graduating from high school. In 1968 he became a civil servant in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate , in 1970 in the district of Ludwigshafen and then in the district government of Rheinhessen-Pfalz . Most recently he was senior government director.

politics

Grünwald was district chairman of the CDU Speyer from 1977 to 1991. He was a member of the local city council from 1974 to 1988, ten years of which as chairman of the parliamentary group. From 1974 to 1979 he was an honorary councilor for the city of Speyer.

In 1987 he ran for the eleventh state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate . On December 6, 1988, he replaced Bernhard Vogel in the state parliament, to which he was a member until the end of the 1991 electoral term. In the state parliament he was a member of the legal committee as well as the investigative committees " AKW Mülheim-Kärlich ", "Casino concessions and broadcasting licenses" and " Pieroth company ".

He was a member of the board of directors of the Speyer district and city savings bank .
