Hans-Jürgen Beyer

Hans-Jürgen Beyer (born August 28, 1949 in Leipzig ) is a German pop singer. Until 1973 he performed as a rock musician .

Life

At the age of 10, Beyer joined the St. Thomas Choir , where, among other things, he worked as a solo soprano. As a high school graduate from St. Thomas School , he founded a beat group . As a young man he performed as a lead singer with the Klaus Renft Combo , Uve Schikora and the Bürkholz formation until they were banned in July 1973. In the documentary If Everyone Dancing How They Wanted, Well! Excerpts from a concert by Hans-Jürgen Beyers with the Bürkholz formation in the railroad workers' club in Berlin-Karlshorst were shown. In 1972 he began studying at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music and Theater in Leipzig . In 1974 he achieved his breakthrough with his title Tag für Tag , composed by Arndt Bause , in the television program Schlagerstudio . He has made guest appearances at numerous international festivals and toured the Soviet Union, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Africa, Bulgaria, India, Japan, Poland, Switzerland and Austria. From 1986 to 1989 he had his own television program Heimat, we greet you, on East German television . 1990 Beyer signed a recording contract with Mushroom and performed with his hit Never again alone in the ZDF - game show The big prize on. Many guest appearances on cruise ships followed.

Beyer produced his album Kaiserin in 1995 with the composer Michael Hansen and the lyricist Michael Niekammer . In 1997 he met with his former bandmate Uve Schikora to produce a joint album, which was released in 1999 by GIB under the title I would do it again . As a former rock musician, Beyer gave rock concerts with the band Beat-Club in 1998 . Others followed with the Butlers .

With the producer and publisher Jürgen Kerber, Beyer produced four singles from 2005 and the album You make me so strong. Beyer performed as a soloist with Margitta at many events . This resulted in the hit duo Margitta & Hans-Jürgen Beyer , which has been performing live since 2009. In 2016 Beyer's album Just love matters .

Beyer married for the fourth time in 2011, but the marriage ended in divorce in 2018.
