Hans-Jürgen Hoyer

Hans-Jürgen Hoyer (born January 10, 1915 in Hanau ; † September 9, 1975 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German journalist (Signum: hjh). He was the head of the local editorial office of the Frankfurter Rundschau .

Life

Hoyer had been with the local editorial team of Frankfurter Rundschau since 1948, first as a volunteer, then as local editor, and from 1958 as director. In 1961 he received the Theodor Wolff Prize . Since 1963 he was the first chairman of the Hessian Association of Journalists. He was also a member of the ZDF television council and was a board member of the Friends of Frankfurt. In 1975 he received the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st class.
