Hans-Joachim Stelzl (* 1945 ) is a German administrative lawyer . From 2006 to 2010 he was director of the German Bundestag .

Stelzl studied law and received his doctorate in 1973 at Bielefeld University on the subject of the law of galleries . From 1974 to 1976 he was a research assistant at the German Bundestag in Bonn .
