Hans Joachim Triebsch (born April 6, 1955 in Brandenburg an der Havel ) is a German painter and graphic artist.

Career

After graduating from high school in 1973 and completing basic military service, Triebsch studied between 1975 and 1980 at the University of Form and Design (today Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle ) in the painting / graphics class, with Hannes H. Wagner , Inge Götze , Frank Ruddigkeit and Willi Sitte and others graduated with a diploma in 1980. After additional studies in painting, graphics and glass design, Triebsch became a teacher himself at the art college in Halle (Saale) in 1981 . Since 1993 he has been a member of the BBK , Thuringia.

Works

In 1982 he created gable designs for the 3rd residential complex in Wolfen -Nord ("Drachenflieger"); several murals follow, e.g. B. “City” in the Große Klausstraße in Halle. From 1988 he worked with Bernd Baumgart on several projects in Halle. Triebsch worked on a variety of topics such as carnival (1981/82), fascism, violence and power (panel “Cain”, two-part, 1986/1987). This was followed since 1986 with various series with houses to be demolished in Halle, Halle cycles (drawing, collage), but also erotic drawings (1988), colored heads (various series, since 1989), a series on Walter Bauer (1990). As a graphic artist, he created etchings for the cities of Artern, Magdeburg, Halle, and Leipzig (city landscapes, since 1993).

Works by Hans Joachim Triebsch have been shown in numerous group exhibitions in Germany. Works by Triebsch are u. a. in the collection of hand drawings of the GDR, Orangery Gera; in the Ludwig Institute for Art of the GDR, Oberhausen Castle and in the art collection of the German University of Physical Culture in Leipzig.

Hans Joachim Triebsch lives and works in Naundorf, Kabelsketal municipality , Saalekreis .
