Hans-Peter Archner

Hans-Peter Archner (* 1954 ) is a German journalist and former radio editor .

Archner grew up in Künzelsau and graduated from high school there in 1973. At the University of Stuttgart he studied German , history and political science . In 1977 he started working as a freelancer for Süddeutscher Rundfunk (SDR). After his permanent position in 1981, he was chief word officer of SDR 3 from 1988 to 1998 . He was also in 1997 initiator, co-author and spokesman for the comedy series Schwäbisch for Fischköpp the NDR 2 , which aired also at SDR third From 1998 to 2004 he was wave manager at SWR1 Baden-Württemberg . He published various cookbooks for the SWR1 program, Pfundskur . Archner has been deputy state broadcaster Baden-Württemberg at SWR since 2004 and is responsible for the country and people area on SWR television in Stuttgart . In August 2017 he retired.
