Hans-Peter Wiechers (pseudonym: hpw ) (* 1948 ) is a German journalist , editor , nonfiction - and script - writer and film director and producer of documentary films .

Hans-Peter Wiechers was born in the post-war period in 1948.

After graduating from school, Wiechers worked for the Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung (HAZ) in the Lower Saxony state capital, Hanover , for which he worked as a court reporter and columnist .

As a director and screenwriter, Wiechers also produced numerous documentaries. In addition, he published via the publishing house Verlagsgesellschaft Madsack , Leuenhagen & Paris and the Zu Klampen Verlag, in addition to non-fiction books on various Hanoverian topics or his Hildesheim journalist colleague Hans Freter, also a compilation of glosses that had previously appeared in the HAZ under the title Lüttje Lagen .
