Hans Blum (painter)
Hans Blum (born January 23, 1858 in Nuremberg , † April 13, 1942 in Munich ) was a German painter .
Blum studied at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts with Ludwig von Löfftz and Ludwig Lindenschmit the Younger . He was a portraitist in Nuremberg and later turned to genre painting , which he carried out in the style of open-air painting . Blum later became a professor at the Munich School of Applied Arts . He was also an architecture and landscape painter .
