Hans Gottlob Rühle

Hans Gottlob Rühle (born September 18, 1949 ) in Stuttgart is a German judge and poet.

Career

Lawyer and labor judge

The son of a bricklayer passed his Abitur in Fellbach in 1970 and studied law, politics and economics at the Universities of Tübingen and Marburg / Lahn from 1971 to 1975. In October 1975 he passed the first state examination in law and in September 1978 the second state examination. In 1978 he started working as a research assistant at the Federal Labor Court in Kassel. He was employed there in the company pension senate until February 1982. From March 1982 he worked as a judge at the labor court , from June 1986 also as director of the labor court in Marburg / Lahn. After the dissolution and amalgamation of the Central Hessian labor courts to form the new labor court in Giessen, Rühle worked at the labor court in Giessen as judge and deputy director until his retirement in 2014 in the establishment of the new, enlarged court. Rühle's legal activities also focused on trainee lawyer training and the training of works councils and honorary judges.

He is also the author of numerous publications on labor law. In the spirit of “popular education”, which was important to him, he published articles on labor law regularly from 1986 to 2015 as a column in various daily newspapers, e. B. in the Magdeburger Volksstimme and the Oberhessische Presse . He also published in labor law journals and published books.

Exhibition organizer and art sponsor

Since June 1986, Rühle has held art exhibitions at the Marburg Labor Court on a regular basis and without interruption until the court was dissolved in December 2014. He also furnished all of the court's conference rooms with art across the board. With that he caused a national sensation. Because of his activities, Rühle was asked by Alfred Biolek to appear on the TV show "Mensch Maier" in 1987 to present the court. In the course of expanding the court into a cultural center , Rühle not only held lectures on labor law, but also a wide variety of cultural events. For several years, together with the Hessian State Theater Marburg, court plays by various authors were performed by the actors of the theater together with Rühle as judge in the large conference room .

Rühle has published several volumes of poetry together with visual artists and has carried out various poetry readings and happenings together with visual and music-making artists.

Honors

• 1987 winner of the "Golden Maier" from Alfred Biolek
• 2000 Award of the "Golden Pegasus", a regional art association, for services to promoting art
• 2011 Certificate of honor for the 25th anniversary of service as a member of the board of directors in labor jurisdiction by the President of the Hessian State Labor Court Dr. Peter Bader
• 2012 Certificate of Honor from the Poko Institute in Münster for 25 years in the training of works councils
