Hans Huber (born January 21, 1944 in Prague ) is an Austrian sports commentator.

Career

After graduating from high school in 1963, Hans Huber studied philosophy at the University of Vienna . The first station in journalism was the Austria Press Agency (APA). In addition, Huber worked for the Austrian daily newspaper Die Presse from 1967 to 1983 .

In 1975 he began to moderate short sports programs at ORF (daily at 8 p.m. on ORF Eins ). Since 1984 he has been employed as an editor in the sports department of ORF. In 1999, Hans Huber became head of sports planning and deputy head of sports. Since 2000 he has also been the head of the football editorial team and from 2007 Huber became head of sports at ORF and thus Elmar Oberhauser's successor .

On July 1, 2009, Huber retired.

Hans Huber was seen for many years on ORF 1 in short sports programs, and in numerous live broadcasts of the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Cup .
