Hans Hubrig

Hans Hubrig (born April 15, 1924 in Celle ; † March 25, 1982 in Hanover ) was a German entrepreneur and politician ( CDU ).

Life

After attending school, Hubrig was drafted into the Wehrmacht in 1942, took part in the Second World War as a soldier until 1945 and was last appointed lieutenant in the reserve.

In 1945 Hubrig took up a university degree in education , psychology and psychiatry at the Georg-August University of Göttingen , which he completed in 1950 with a doctorate in philosophy (oral examination 1951). He then worked as a research assistant at the educational seminar at Göttingen University (1950–1954). In 1954 he became the managing partner of a sand-lime brick factory in Winsen an der Aller and since 1959 he was the managing director of the North Hessian sand-lime brick works. From 1963 to 1965 he was President of the Federal Association of the Sand Lime Brick Industry.

Political party

Hubrig had been a member of the CDU since 1966 and from 1975 to 1981 chairman of the CDU district association in Lüneburg .

MP

From 1968 to 1972 Hubrig was a council member of the municipality of Wietze and from 1968 to 1970 and from 1973 to 1980 a member of the district council of the Celle district . From June 21, 1974 to October 20, 1976 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament . He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1969 to 1972 and from 1976 until his death. In parliament he represented the constituency of Celle .
