Hans I. von Angelach-Braubach

Hans I. von Angelach-Braubach († 1400 ) was an imperial knight from the family of the Lords of Angelach . He is the founder of the von Angelach-Braubach family branch.

Hans I was the son of Johann von Braubach, who did not call himself von Angelach, but von Braubach . Hans was married to Petrissa von Fechenbach . The sons Wilhelm and Eberhart are known to us from this marriage.

Life

Hans I was enfeoffed with glue and nut holes by Count Heinrich von Sponheim in 1374 . In 1378 there was an inheritance comparison with that of Aschhausen together with his wife . In 1380 he served under the captain Count Wolf von Eberstein of the city of Speyer . In 1390 Hans I was named as mayor of Heidelberg in the Electoral Palatinate .

1392 exchanged Hans I. and his sons William and Eberhart with their relatives Knight Dietrich von Rheinberg different katzenelnbogische fief. They left the fiefs in Pfaffendorf , Horchheim , Lahnstein , Spay , Miehlen and Geisig near Braubach to Dieter . For this they received fiefdoms in Hahn , today a district of Ober-Ramstadt .

Hans I. died in 1400 and his sons continued the family branch of the Lords of Angelach-Braubach.
