Hans Jürgen Koch

Hans Jürgen Koch (* 1934 in Lüneburg ; † August 11, 2014 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German author and editor.

Life

Koch studied German, English and geography at the Universities of Marburg , Wales (Swansea) and Münster . From 1962 to 1971 he worked as an editor for S. Fischer Verlag . He then switched to Saarländischer Rundfunk , where he became head of the Cultural Word department in 1977, and later became head of the waves at SR 2 KulturRadio and deputy radio program director . In France he was awarded the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres for his services to Franco-German relations .
