Hans Künster

Hans Künster (* 1927 in Cologne ) is a German actor , radio play and voice actor .

Life

During the Second World War Künster attended an acting school in his hometown and received his first theater engagement at the Städtische Bühnen Köln in the first post-war season . This was followed by four years in the ensemble of the Aachen City Theater, at the Kassel State Theater and a few years at the Theater am Dom in Cologne. His other theater stations include the Theater am Kurfürstendamm and the Kölner Volkstheater Theater im Vringsveedel , where he appeared between 1977 and the closure in 1986 as a partner of the theater founder Trude Herr .

On television, Künster could be seen in television plays and films since the mid-1960s . He played under the direction of Wilhelm Semmelroth in The Higher School and King Nicolo or So ist das Leben , under the direction of Gert Westphal in the drama Leutnant Nant , as Meermann in Walter Davy's fantasy film Trilltrall und seine Brüder , alongside Ulli Philipp in Die Mohrin after Tankred Dorst as well as in stage recordings from the Theater am Dom such as 1970 alongside Gunther Philipp in the tabloid comedy Spiel nicht mit kleine Mädchen . He also made guest appearances in television series and series such as Ein Fall für Zwei , Sherlock Holmes and Tatort

He also worked as a spokesperson for film dubbing and radio play productions. As a voice actor he lent his voice to Don Pedro Colley in THX 1138 , Pat Hingle in Deadly Freight and The Untamed , John Wengraf in Secret Agent T and Kirk Douglas in Vicious Alpha . He also dubbed various cartoon characters for the ARD series Janoschs Traumstunde .
