Hans Loch (architect)

Hans Loch (born January 31, 1924 in Innsbruck ; † March 13, 2005 in Gries am Brenner ) was an Austrian architect.

Life

Hans Loch grew up as the son of the couple who hosted the Weisses Rössl inn in Gries am Brenner. Ernst Degn was  his drawing teacher at the grammar school in Innsbruck . Shortly before graduating from high school, he had to do military service in World War II and was a Canadian prisoner of war in northern Germany. After graduating from high school, he studied architecture at the Graz University of Technology until 1950 and passed the civil engineering exam in 1955 . In 1965 he founded his own architecture office in Innsbruck and in 1967 was appointed building expert for the Innsbruck-Land district.
