tourism

Due to the position of the front districts on a low mountain range high above the Inn valley, there is an undisturbed view as far as Innsbruck in good weather. Due to its location, Weerberg is an important resort.

Weerberg is a popular place for cyclists, especially mountain bikers. The ascent from Pill in the Inn Valley across Weerberg to the Weidener Hütte and Nafing is particularly popular.

In winter there are two ski lifts that open up relatively easy slopes. The Hüttegglift Weerberg transports winter sports enthusiasts from 1250 meters above sea level to 1500 meters, the Schwannerlift is located at the level of the village center and is approx. 250 meters long. A connection to the Hochfügen ski area has been planned for a long time , but this is more than controversial from the point of view of environmental compatibility and because of the dislike of many locals about this project.
