Hans Schilde (born October 2, 1910 in Limmritz , † May 3, 2006 in Dresden ) was a German politician ( SED ) and trade unionist .

Life

Schilde, the son of a worker, learned the trade of toolmaker . Then he worked in the profession. In 1925 he joined the KJVD and in 1930 the KPD. From 1931 he was a member of the Reich leadership of the Red Young Front and from 1932 instructor of the Central Committee (ZK) of the KJVD in Northern Bavaria, then in Lippe and Hamburg.

After the " seizure of power " by the National Socialists , he was imprisoned in Hamburg from March to December 1933 . In 1934 he went to the Soviet Union for training and then worked as a courier for the KPD. In 1935 he was arrested in Amsterdam , deported and then worked for the KPD in Czechoslovakia . There he was the responsible KJVD functionary of the Karlsbad subsection . In 1938 he emigrated to Great Britain and from 1944 was a member of the working committee of the national group of German trade unionists.

In 1946 he returned to Germany. In Dresden he played a leading role in building the FDGB . In April 1947 he was elected to the district administrator of the Freiberg district, then appointed as an agent in the office for the protection of public property in Saxony . He then became deputy head of the main light industry department in the DWK and, after the GDR was founded, in October 1949 in the Ministry of Industry. After studying at the party college , he was operations manager of the VEB heavy machinery construction "Heinrich Rau" in Wildau until 1955 . He then studied at the industrial institute of the TH Dresden and was secretary of the SED basic organization of the TH Dresden until 1958. From 1958 to 1963 he was chairman of the district economic council and deputy chairman of the council of the Dresden district . From 1963 to 1966 he acted as sector manager for light and food industry in the office for industry and construction of the SED district leadership in Dresden and was a member of the district assembly there. Schilde was also a Dresden city ​​councilor and 1970/71 first secretary of the SED district leadership Dresden-Ost. In 1971 he finished his full-time work in the SED apparatus, but continued to work as chairman of the Dresden District Committee of People's Solidarity .
