Hans Strobl (architect)
Hans Strobl (born August 19, 1879 in Waldhausen, Bavaria ; † January 27, 1961 ) was a German architect .
After graduating from high school in 1901, Hans Strobl first studied philosophy for one semester before starting to study architecture at the Technical University of Munich in 1902 . In 1906 he created the main diploma examination. From 1906 to 1909 he worked in the Bavarian State Building Administration , from 1909 he worked for Friedrich von Thiersch . In 1910 he passed the 2nd state examination. From 1912 he worked for the Archbishop's Building Office in Freiburg under Raimund Jeblinger . After his participation in the First World War, he was head of the Archbishop's Building Office in Heidelberg from 1919 . After the dissolution of this building authority on September 1, 1924, he was initially put into temporary retirement. In 1926 he became the director of the Archbishop's Building Department in Karlsruhe . After the dissolution of this building authority, he became the director of the Archbishop's Building Department in Constance . From 1940 until his retirement in 1946 he was again chairman of the Archbishop's Building Office in Heidelberg.
