Hans Thöni

Hans Thöni (* 1931 in St. Anton am Arlberg ) is an Austrian master builder and local researcher.

Life

Thöni attended high school in Zams and Schwaz and the HTL in Innsbruck. He worked as a construction technician and designer for eleven years at various construction companies until, after completing his training as a master builder in Bludenz, he started his own construction company and ran it for 30 years.

Thöni wrote in the Tiroler Tagblatt , the St. Anton am Arlberg municipality and in the Tiroler Heimatblatt and published books with a focus on regional history . He is a founding member of the Bludenz Region History Association and the Vorarlberger Landesmuseumsverein . He is a board member of Heimatwerk Bregenz.

Thöni has lived in Ludesch since 1964 , is married and has four children and eight grandchildren.
