Hans Utz (born September 14, 1912 in Munich ; † April 1, 1974 ) was a Bavarian politician. As a member of the Bavarian Party , he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament from 1954 to 1958 .

Life

After elementary school, Utz attended the Luitpold secondary school and then entered the judiciary. During the Second World War he was at the front for six years. After the war he opened the Kötzting District Court, where he worked as a public prosecutor.

career

He joined the Bavarian Party, whose state manager he became in 1949. He was elected to the state parliament as a candidate in Rosenheim via the district list of Upper Bavaria in 1950. The introduction of the Bavarian Order of Merit and the installation of the white-blue border posts with the Bavarian coat of arms go back to his initiative. However, his application for the introduction of Bavarian citizenship, as provided for in the Bavarian constitution , failed.

After the fall of the Bavarian party ( casino affair ), Hans Utz tried to become effective in the FDP and to influence it in the direction of federalism . He became deputy district chairman of Upper Bavaria in the FDP. Later he was elected non-party mayor of the then still independent municipality of Reischenhart in the district of Rosenheim . He retained this office through re-election until his death in 1974.
