Hans Weber (born May 15, 1941 in Ehrenfriedersdorf ; † May 24, 1969 in Harrachov ) was a German motor sportsman who competed with the GDR team five times in a row at the International Six Days in 1963 , 1964 , 1965 , 1966 and 1967 won the victory. For the victory in 1967, the team was voted GDR Sportsman of the Year .

In 1968, Hans Weber came second in the first ever European off -road sport championship behind GDR driver Werner Salevsky (250 cc class).

At the age of 19, Hans Weber first took part in an off-road race in 1960 around the Dittersdorfer Höhe . In 1961 he was third in the GDR championship in the 250 cc class. He was GDR champion four times (1963, 1965, 1966, 1967) and second in 1964 and third in the GDR championship in 1968.

On May 24, 1969, the first day of the European Championship run, he had an accident and died a little later in hospital - nine days after his 28th birthday. The GDR team then broke off the competition.

In the courtyard of Wildeck Castle in Zschopau there is a memorial stone for Hans Weber and two other deceased members of the team at the time, Peter Uhlig (1940–1971) and Werner Salevsky (1940–1991).
