Hans Werbik

Hans Werbik (born February 27, 1941 in Hollabrunn ) is a psychologist from Austria who until 2006 held Chair II at the Institute for Psychology at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg .

education

Hans Werbik studied from 1959 to 1963 psychology , philosophy and musicology at the University in Vienna and in 1963 for Dr. phil. PhD. He then worked as a research assistant at the Psychological Institute of the University in Tuebingen , where he met with a thesis on in 1969 information and emotional impact of music could habilitate. In 1970 he moved to the Institute for Psychology at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg as a Scientific Adviser, where he was appointed full professor in 1973 .

In the 1970s, Professor Werbik dealt primarily with aggression research , later with theories of action and, in particular, with the Erlangen constructivism, the scientific theoretical foundations of psychology.
