Hans Wolf von Schönberg (born January 14, 1648 in Limbach , † February 13, 1712 in Bornitz ) was a Saxon-Weissenfels resident marshal and district councilor and manor owner .

Life

Hans Wolf von Schönberg came from the Saxon noble family von Schönberg , who lived in Limbach near Chemnitz , and was the son of Caspar Dietrich von Schönberg (1599–1673). Maria Elisabeth born von Ende (1622–1690) was his mother. He had several half-siblings from his father's first marriage. Hans Friedrich von Schönberg (1655–1676) was his younger brother.

Like many of his family members, he embarked on an administrative career in the service of the Wettins after private lessons . However, he did not go to the court in Dresden , but first to Halle (Saale) and then to Weißenfels to the ruling Duke Adolf, whom he served for many years as house marshal and district chamber councilor.

In Reinsberg he owned shares in the manor there.

Hans Wolf von Schönberg married Isabella Freiin von Neideck zu Wildegg on August 31, 1673 in Halle (Saale) . Both marriages resulted in a total of 15 children, many of whom did not survive toddlerhood.
