Hans Zürn

Hans Zürn (born February 12, 1936 in Frankfurt am Main ; † March 13, 2020 ) was a German actor .

Life

Zürn was born in Frankfurt-Sossenheim as the son of an innkeeper and grew up in Frankfurt-Höchst . After graduating from high school in Höchst , he studied German and theater studies in Frankfurt and from 1957 in Munich . After his first experiences as an assistant director, he discovered his preference for the theater and completed speaking and singing training as a lyric baritone with Gerthy Haindl.

In 1963 he returned to Frankfurt. He gained theater experience in various engagements, including at the Landesbühne Rhein-Main and the Katakombe in Frankfurt as well as at the theaters in Heilbronn and Reutlingen . In 1979 he came to the Frankfurt Volkstheater through his acquaintance with Liesel Christ and Wolfgang Kaus , with which he has been associated ever since. Over the years he has played numerous roles in classic dramas and comedies, but also in dialect pieces. In addition, he was repeatedly seen in supporting roles in television productions, e. B. in the television series A Case for Two and The Great Bellheim .
