Hantumhuizen ( West Frisian Hantumhuzen ) is a village in the municipality of Noardeast-Fryslân in the Dutch province of Friesland . It is located north of Dokkum and has 195 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). The name of the village means that there are houses near Hantum .
Hantumhuizen is in the Middle Ages on a high mound arose, but already at the end of the 19th century was demolished. There is also a 13th-century church in Hantumhuizen , which is partly Romanesque and partly Gothic .
