Life

Dzubilla completed an apprenticeship as a publishing clerk at the Axel Springer publishing house in Hamburg. This was followed by managerial positions in the Burda , Jahreszeiten , Springer and Bauer publishing houses . In the 1960s, Dzubilla began to write a weekly column under the pseudonym "Spießer Alfons" in ZV + ZV , the body of the publishers' associations BDZV and VDZ . After ZV + ZV was closed, this column was continued in the trade journal Werben & Sell and has been published in Horizont , a newspaper for marketing, advertising and media , since 1997 . In his column, the author has been (real) satirically dealing with the inadequacies of German advertising and its makers every week for over 40 years.

Since the mid-1970s, Harald Dzubilla has been writing radio plays and lyrics for children and adults under the pseudonyms "Peter Riesenburg", "Dilkó" and "Robert Castell". In 2006 he presented himself under the pseudonym "Ron Simon" with a first exhibition as a picture maker. Since 2007, Harald Dzubilla as "philistine Alfons" has also been writing regular comments on advertising, media and communication in media blogs and in his own blog about local topics from his hometown Ahrensburg. Since 2017, Dzubilla has been running his column "Spießer Alfons" in the form of its own blog.

Harald Dzubilla is first chairman of the board of directors of Kunstfreunde Ahrensburg e. V. and administrator of the estate of the writer Hans Reimann (1889–1969).
