Harald "Harry" Gutowski (* 1951 in Tönning / Eider) is a German musician, composer and producer.

Life

Harry Gutowski is (together with his childhood friends Joachim Witt and Wolfgang Schleiter) the founder of the German rock band Duesenberg (1976), with whom he received the German Record Prize in 1980 after three LP releases . In the next few years he worked as an instrumentalist (bass) in the Joachim Witt Band , with whom he participated in many tours, television appearances and studio work. He had his first top ten hit as a producer and co-author with the song Hohe Berge for Miss Menke . With Miss Menke he achieved further hits in 1982/83 such as B. Dream boy and pedal boat in distress . He composed a. a. for Joachim Witt, Juliane Werding , Richard Sanderson and others. In 1983 he founded the Ed Harry Nova music publisher. He also wrote and composed for his own music albums such as B. You need rest, Mr. Gutowski , Warm Up and Edit Traxx as well as Larry and the Movers u. a.

From 1989 he worked as a music editor at Sat.1 , and from 1992 also as a producer & composer for Sat.1 music design ( ran , ranissimo etc.). He composed and produced many title music, children's CD-ROMs ( Sendung mit der Maus , TKKG , Was ist was u. A.) For various publishers, but also the official stadium anthem for the German Football Association (1996). In 2000 he founded GuM audio. media - music production & publishing in cooperation with EMI Musik Publishing. In 2005 he founded the GUM audio label, on which new publications by German artists such as B. Miss Menke, Dreier, Brücke 10 and others appear.

2006 Foundation of the label / production company Primadonna. On this label there may appear a. the albums by Witt, Bayreuth III & Auf Ewig , both of which reach high chart positions. As a composer, title music for Anne Will (2007) & various film music for ZDF ( Die Machternahmung / Guido Knopp 2009) and for ARD (including Wir Reiseweltmeister SWR 2011, Kurt Georg Kiesinger SWR 2012) and many others. as well as further CD productions (Production Music) for Warner, Selected Sound (EMI) & Soton.
