Harald Klyk

Harald Klyk (born January 23, 1945 in Halle an der Saale ) is a retired German radio and television presenter . He is currently still active as the press spokesman for the Saarland Football Association.

Life

Harald Klyk grew up in Halle an der Saale until his family moved to Saarland in 1957 for professional reasons . Klyk attended the Ludwigsgymnasium in Saarbrücken and did a job at the Saarländischer Rundfunk (SR) during his senior years . After leaving school he studied at the University of Saarbruecken Jura and took a job on the SR. In 1970 he had to step in for a colleague at short notice as a sports commentator and commented on the football game Borussia Neunkirchen against ASV Landau ( Regionalliga Südwest ). In 1975 he broke off his studies when he got a permanent position at the SR. There he started as a news editor and in the sports department.

In 1977 he switched to SR television and worked for many years as an editor for the current report . From 1992 to 1998 he was employed as a sports editor and reporter. Then he switched to broadcasting management and program planning. He was last seen on television in 2002 in the SR Sportarena. 2003 followed a short time as head of the ARD trailer editorial office . In 2010 he retired.

Since 1996 he has been on the board of the Saarland Football Association (SFV). He is also the youth worker and 2nd chairman of FV 08 Püttlingen .

Klyk currently lives in Püttlingen . He is married and has two children.
