Life

Schneider started writing during his studies. At first he wrote for various student newspapers , over time more and more short crime stories and stories for the rainbow press as well as satirical articles such as With the pedal boat to Ibiza or hotel to the police followed . He has established his protagonist Kriminalhauptkommissar Reiner Palzki, who investigates in the Rhine-Neckar triangle and the Vorderpfalz (Pfalz-Krimi), in the Gmeiner crime publishing house and in several regional newspapers such as the Rheinpfalz .

Since the birth of his four children (born 1994–2008) Schneider has been involved in children's guessing thrillers and detective stories. He also works as a business economist in a media group, where he deals with strategic planning in the publishing industry. He is a member of the syndicate (association of German-speaking crime writers) as well as in the Friedrich-Bödecker-Kreis (FBK).

In 2008 Schneider founded the “Arbeitsgemeinschaft Klang und Mord” together with the percussionist Pit Vogel. Under this name, the duo offers readings with musical accompaniment as Die Palzki-Krimi-Show and implements the plot of the Palzki novels with ironic situation comedy. In the 2009 season he was the first German park clerk to work at Holiday Park Haßloch . According to the Gmeiner Verlag, with a circulation of more than 90,000 copies per paperback, he is one of the most widely read regional crime authors in Germany.
