Johannes Steck

Johannes Steck (born March 15, 1966 in Würzburg ) is a German actor , audio book and radio play speaker , producer and voice actor .

biography

Steck initially trained as a theater painter, then attended the Krauss drama school in Vienna and, after graduating, worked for two years at Viennese theaters. Shortly after the fall of the Berlin Wall , he went to the Chemnitz Theater . This was followed by the stations of Stadttheater Würzburg and Staatstheater Darmstadt as well as several guest engagements.

Steck works independently as a spokesperson for advertising texts and trailers, among other things. In 1998 he produced the pirate radio play Long John Silver for BR , based on Robert Louis Stevenson's novel Treasure Island and himself played the role of the young Long John Silver. After episodic roles in various television productions, he played the leading role of Dr. Kreutzer in the ARD series In all friendship .

He speaks and produces audio books and radio plays in his recording studio in Seefeld Castle . In 2014 he took over the role of the narrator in the Kaltenberg knight tournament.

Steck has been reading audio books for several years and is known for reading all the works by Simon Beckett and Edgar Wallace .

Steck is married and has six children.
