Harald von Koenigswald (born March 21, 1906 in Karlsruhe , † October 16, 1971 in Deidesheim ) was a German writer.

At the age of 25, he married Helene von Falkenhausen (1900–1987). In September 1941 their son Wighart von Koenigswald was born in Potsdam, where he has lived since 1936 .

Koenigswald published short stories, essays and novels in the 1930s. He was u. a. friends with Jochen Klepper , Reinhold Schneider and Werner Bergengruen . He also wrote in the monarchist White Papers himself , as did his father-in-law Friedrich von Falkenhausen . Armin Mohler counts him in “The Conservative Revolution ” among those people whom he describes as the “Prussian and Eastern mystics of this anti-democratic movement”.

After the war he was u. a. Editor of the “Kulturhefte” of the Ministry of Social Affairs in North Rhine-Westphalia for the ideal reinforcement of the expellees .

As the editor of various diary entries by Udo von Alvensleben-Wittenmoor , he has published his significant art and contemporary historical considerations. However, his commentary on the records differs from Alvensleben's cosmopolitan approach.
