The Harcovský potok , also Harcovská Nisa , Lukášovský potok or Lukášovská Nisa (German Harzdorfer Bach , on the upper reaches of the Luxdorfer Flössl ) is a right tributary of the Lusatian Neisse in the Czech Republic .
course
The Harcovský potok rises west of Bedřichov in the Jizera Mountains on the southern slope of the Maliník or Malinový vrch ( Raspberry Mountain , 827 m). Its upper course leads in a southerly direction; in the east, the valley of the Harcovský potok is bounded by the Vysoký hřeben and Kotel ( Kesselstein , 654 m), to the west by the Harcovský hřeben and Klášterní vrch ( monastery hill , 654 m). In Lukášov the brook turns to the northwest and flows on its middle course at the southern foot of the Klášterní vrch and Jílový vrch (634 m) through Kunratice, Nový Harcov and Starý Harcov . At the foot of the Výšina ( Heinrichshöhe , 547 m), the Harcovský potok reaches Kristiánov , where the stream is dammed in the Harcov dam. Its lower course leads in a south-westerly direction under the Na Bídě street , the Fórum department store and the Dům kultury ( culture house ). In addition to the Dům kultury, the Harcovský potok is introduced into the Lusatian Neisse after just under twelve kilometers on the border between the Liberec districts of Perštýn and Nové Město .

particularities
The lower course of the stream in the center of Liberec has been completely overbuilt since 1897. In the years 1902 to 1904, the Reichenberg dam was built on the middle course of the Harzdorfer Bach as flood protection .
