The Harheimer Ried is a nature reserve in the area of the city of Frankfurt am Main in Hesse . It is located in the Frankfurt green belt on the eastern edge of the northern Frankfurt district of Harheim , directly on the city limits of Bad Vilbel . In the north the area borders on the residential development of Harheim as well as on agricultural areas, a narrow southern branch of the NSG borders on the orographically right, geographically northern bank of the Nidda . The 4.99 hectare area with the identification 1412007 has been designated as a nature reserve since 2007.
