Harlan Ross Feltus

Harlan Ross Feltus (born 1939 in Monrovia , California , † January 18, 2003 in Miami ) was an American photographer .

Feltus became known mainly through portraits of children, he was considered Germany's most famous child photographer. His photographic work has appeared in Stern , Sunday Times Magazine, People, and International Syndications . Calendars designed by him have been published by UNICEF , Verkerke , Lübbe-Verlag and numerous other well-known publishers.

Feltus also worked as a commercial photographer and took photos for advertising campaigns for various companies and products, such as for Henkel , Colgate-Palmolive , Horten , Ford , Steiff , Miele or Rodenstock .

Until shortly before his death he practiced his profession in Düsseldorf . He died of prostate cancer on January 18, 2003 in Miami . Barbara Feltus emerged from the marriage with his wife Ursula, who was married to the former tennis player Boris Becker from 1993 to 2001 .
