Harri Pritchard Jones
Harri Pritchard Jones (born March 10, 1933 in Dudley , Worcestershire , † March 10, 2015 in Penarth , Vale of Glamorgan ) was a Welsh writer.
Life
Jones grew up in Menai Bridge and Llangefni on the Welsh island of Anglesey . He studied medicine in Birmingham and Trinity College , Dublin . He lived in Ireland for ten years . In 1958, he joined the Roman Catholic faith , until then an agnostic . In 1965 he married Lenna Harries, with whom he had a daughter and two sons. He worked as a psychiatrist and was active as a writer, writing in Welsh .
Jones has written novels, short stories, and academic papers. Frequently the plot of his works, unusual for Welsh literature although written in Welsh, took place outside of Wales.
