Harry Biss (born August 9, 1919 in New York City , † May 17, 1997 in Long Beach ) was an American jazz pianist .
Biss played in the mid-1940s in Georgie Auld's orchestra , as well as with Herbie Fields , Buddy Rich and Brew Moore . In the early 1950s he still worked with Gene Roland , Zoot Sims , Terry Gibbs , Allen Eager and Eddie Bert before disappearing from the jazz scene. In the field of jazz he was involved in 18 recording sessions between 1944 and 1952.
