Hartmut Beer

Hartmut Beer (* 21st May 1941 in Pabianice , Wartheland ; † 15. May 1998 in Holzweißig ) was a German film and theater actor , who primarily by DEFA - adventure films became famous for.

Life

After graduating from high school, Beer studied at the University of Film and Television Potsdam- Babelsberg until 1964 before accepting theater engagements in Meiningen, Greifswald, Annaberg, Radebeul and Freiberg. Even during his studies, Beer made his DEFA debut in the film Die goldene Gans . Other DEFA feature films followed, including the well-known DEFA Indian films and television productions for German television broadcasting (DFF) .

Between 1988 and 1990 Beer was on stage again in Meiningen, followed by a two-year engagement in Heidelberg before he ended his career for health reasons. He died on May 15, 1998 in Holzweißig of complications from a brain tumor.
