Harutjun (Harut) Wardanyan (also Vardanyan , Armenian Հարություն Վարդանյան ; * December 5, 1970 in Leninakan ) is a former Armenian football player , he played on the position of a defender .

Career

Harut Wardanjan started his career at FC Lori Vanadzor . For the 1989 season, Wardanyan moved to FC Schirak Gyumri , where he stayed until the end of the 1997/98 season. For the 1998/99 season Wardanjan moved abroad for the first time to SC Fortuna Cologne in the 2nd Bundesliga , where he stayed for two seasons, where he did not make the jump into the regular formation. Therefore, the Armenian switched to BSC Young Boys , where he immediately belonged to the regular squad and became the Bernese defense chief. After three seasons at YB, he moved to Servette FC for one season before moving on to FC Aarau . For the 2006/07 season Wardanjan moved to FC Biel-Bienne .

Offense

In April 2007 he was arrested at his place of residence in Villnachern for "involvement in major crimes". In four break-ins in Lenzburg, Chur, Muri and Balerna in Ticino, between September 2006 and July 2007, loot worth a total of 440,000 francs was made in three Denner branches and in a Ticino trading company. The public prosecutor's office accused him of complicity or even the initiative. In April 2008, the Lenzburg District Court sentenced him to two years' imprisonment without parole for “helping and participating in two break-ins”.
